Alivea Joy Todd, known as Livi, of Cambridge, MD, danced into the arms of Jesus on Tuesday, August 11, 2026. She was 18 years old. Alivea was the daughter of Denny and Kerry Ann Todd and the sister to Toby.
Alivea was truly a bright light. She loved dance and softball and animals were her passion. She loved Jesus and her family. She had just recently graduated from high school and was looking forward to starting her adult life. She had recently started working at Lollipop Lane and loved her class there. She also loved her dance family at Eastern Shore Dance Academy so much.
She competed in the Miss Outdoors pageant at the 2026 Miss Outdoors Show and loved every minute of it. She won Second Runner Up and her parents are so proud of the way she represented herself, her family and her faith on that stage. Her family wishes to thank the Outdoors Show organization for all their love and support for Alivea.
Alivea loved new experiences and meeting people. She loved all of her jobs and her family wishes to thank everyone at Amazing Grace Stables and Sanctuary, Sago Spa at the Hyatt, Emily’s Produce, Butterfly Boutique, Craig’s Drug Store, Lollipop Lane, Ocean Odyssey, Blackwater Adventures and Cabin Creek Animal Hospital for the care and love they showed her.
Everyone who knew Alivea loved her. Her smile was contagious and her heart bled for those in need. She loved scary movies and Starbucks and a good party. She was the life of the party, always bringing so much joy, but she also loved Jesus with her whole heart and loved reading the Bible and praying for her friends.
Alivea will be remembered for her heart and for her smile. No one was unseen by Livi. From a young age her heart ached for the poor and homeless. It was her lifelong dream to help them in some way. She saved her money and gave whenever she could. Her family will find some way to honor her heart in the future regarding this.
Alivea was preceded in death by her grandfathers, Doug Todd and Kerry Kahl, her great grandparents Betty and Tete Mills, Buster and Winnie White, and Elmer and Charlotte Willey and her great aunt, Carolyn Herbert.
Alivea is survived by her parents and brother, her grandmothers Tippy Todd and Dianne Kahl, her aunts, Aunt Mimi (Kim McGinnes) (and Jerry) and Kaitlyn McGinnis (and Kyle), her Uncle Doug Todd (and Mary) and so many cousins, great aunts and uncles. She is also survived by so many friends (especially Da’Breon Carter) who loved her and laughed with her often.
Her family would also love to thank the following for always loving and caring for Alivea and her family: Bay Country Church, the River Church, Thrive Church, First Baptist Church in Easton and Chesapeake Homeschool Community.
Alivea’s family wish for everyone to know that Alivea knew Jesus, had been baptized and had accepted Him as her Savior and while she is gone from this earth, her spirit is fully alive and whole and with Him. Her family is fully confident that they will see her again. Her family also wishes to thank her birth mother who chose life for her. They are eternally thankful that she gave Alivea the chance to live the beautiful life that she did.
1 John 3:1 says “See what great love the Father has lavished on us, that we should be called children of God! And that is what we are!” Alivea was adopted twice, once by her parents and once more by God. It is our deepest prayer that all who knew Alivea may come to know the love of God and be adopted into the family of God.
A funeral service will be held on Friday August 21, 2026 at Blackwater Adventure Cannery, 2524 Key Wallace Drive, Cambridge, MD 21613 at 12 PM with Rev. Jayson Bleyer officiating.
