Anna Ruth Dawson

Anna Ruth Dawson, 87, of Vienna passed away on Thursday, April 11, 2024 at UMSMC at Dorchester. She was born in Vienna on May 31, 1936 and was a daughter of the late Alton and Nana Mae Hurley.

Ms. Dawson graduated from Vienna High School in 1954. She worked at Pep-Up and enjoyed reading.  

She is survived by two children Donald Matthew Wroten, Sr. of East New Market and Ronald Eugene Wroten of Salem, three grandchildren Casey Hughes, Ronnie Lee Wroten, and Donald M. Wroten, Jr., three great grandchildren and several nephews. Besides her parents, Ms. Dawson is preceded in death by two daughters Traci Ranice Wroten and Bonnie Denise Wroten and a sister Mary Louise Jones. 

Per her request there will be no service. Arrangements are in the care of the Thomas Funeral Home, P.A. in Cambridge.
