Barbara F. Stanfield

Barbara F. Stanfield, 87, of Easton passed away on Tuesday, November 28, 2023 at UMSMC at Easton. She was born in Cambridge on April 5, 1936 and was a daughter of the late Elmer Lake LeCompte and Martha Willey LeCompte.

Mrs. Stanfield graduated from Cambridge High School class of 1954. On February 18, 1955 she married Charles R. Stanfield. She worked on the water with her husband and also took care of her family. Mrs. Stanfield enjoyed being with her family and loved to bird watch and nature.

She is survived by her husband Charles Stanfield of Easton, four children Sharon Myers and husband Stephen of Tilghman, a son John Stanfield, a son Thomas Stanfield and wife Jennifer of Glen Burnie, a daughter Theresa Stanfield of Easton, seven grandchildren, several great grandchildren, a sister Patricia Cash of Salisbury and several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, Mrs. Stanfield is preceded in death by a son Charles Stanfield, Jr., two sisters Joan LeCompte and Carole LeCompte.

A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, December 5, 2023 at 2pm at Thomas Funeral Home, P.A. in Cambridge with Father Michael Angeloni officiating. Family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
