Barbara T. Parker

Barbara T. Parker, 66, of Vienna passed away on Thursday, July 30, 2026 at her home with her loving family by her side. She was born in Cambridge on October 31, 1959 and was a daughter of the late Alfred F. Travers, Sr. and Marian Dayton Travers.

Ms. Parker attended schools in Dorchester County. She worked in Home Health Care for many years. Ms. Parker enjoyed going to Tennessee, and shopping. She was a member of the Vienna Fire Company.

She is survived by her son Joshua Parker and wife Brittanie of Vienna, three grandsons Jacob Parker of Vienna, Jase Parker of Vienna, Jackson Parker of Vienna, siblings James Travers, Sr. and wife Donna of Cambridge, Alfred Travers, Jr. and wife Pam of Vienna, Timothy Newcomb of Vienna and Marian Newcomb Simmons and husband Dickie of Preston, a special nephew Jimmy Travers, Jr. and wife Shelly of East New Market and several other nieces and nephews.

Per her request, there will be no services. Arrangements are in the care of the Thomas Funeral Home, P.A. in Cambridge.
