Betty J. (Newlin) Lively

Betty J. Lively, 77, of Linkwood passed away on Friday, August 25, 2023 with her love ones, after a 3 year battle with pancreatic cancer.

Betty Lively was born in Baltimore, MD on May 22, 1946. She was the daughter of the late Charles and Dorothy Newlin.

Betty was the mother to Sarah Short, Jeffery Allen, stepmother to Roy Lively, Jr., Tammy Lively, Joyce Paulette and Vicky Lively.

Betty was preceded in death by her parents, husband Roy Lively, Sr., brother Oliver Newlin, son Duane Allen, and grandson Mark Short, Jr. She is survived by daughter Sarah Short (Mark), son Jeff Allen (Crystal), grandson Christopher Short (Brie), two sisters Pat Hensley and Nancy Wilson, a brother Dorney Newlin, several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews, daughter in law Terry Allen.

Betty enjoyed spending time with family, playing bingo and playing house of fun.
