Bonnie K. Grinnell

Bonnie K. Grinnell, 83, of Linkwood passed away on Thursday, September 25, 2025 peacefully surrounded by her family at home. She was born on January 13, 1942 in New York State to the late Claude “Buss” Whitford and Kathryn Snow Whitford.

On October 6, 1952, Bonnie married Charles N. Grinnell who passed away on October 20, 2014 after 52 years of marriage. Bonnie and Charles had 7 children. She was proceeded in death by her eldest child Lance Grinnell, and grandson Greg Leonard. Bonnie’s greatest joy in life was the time she spent surrounded by her beloved grandchildren and great grandchildren. Nothing made her happier than their laughter and antics.

She is survived by her children Lanise Mohn (Todd) of Centreville, Lauryn Overstreet of Fayetteville, Georgia, Lara Hurtado of Linkwood, Laird Grinnell (Laura Collins Marshall) of Rhodesdale, Lacy Grinnell of Linkwood, and Lanette Duran of Cambridge; grandchildren Chad Lance (Maggie Moore), Abby Horseman Leonard, Olivia Finiello (Paulie), Haley Grinnell (Darrell Ross), Spencer Horseman (Emma Morningstar), MaryKathryn Torres (Sebastian), Nathan Duran, Morgan Elliott (Dakota), Jacob and Joshua Overstreet, Charley Hurtado, Alexis Duran, Joseph Cuellar (Breanna Barrett), and Johnathen Cuellar (Abigail Rizzi), and Gabriella Cuellar; great grandchildren Dash and Kip Leonard, Rudee and Grace Campbell, Lucia Renee Finiello, Isabella Barrett-Cuellar and Maria Cuellar.

Graveside service and celebration of life will be held at a later date. Arrangements are in the care of Thomas Funeral Home, P.A. in Cambridge.
