Brenda Marie (Fairbanks) Hubbard

Brenda Marie Hubbard, 68, of East New Market, passed away on Wednesday, March 1, 2023 at UMSMC at Easton.  She was born on September 1, 1954 to the late Samuel Lee Fairbanks, Sr. and Jeanette Faulkner Fairbanks.

Brenda attended schools in Dorchester County.  In 1972, she married Alvin Seymour Hubbard, Jr., who passed away on May 16, 2012.  Brenda worked for many years as a cashier at Wal-Mart.  She loved her cats, crocheting, painting, and anything crafty, but most of all she adored her family.

Brenda is survived by her son Alvin S. Hubbard III and his girlfriend Kimberly Finch of East New Market; grandchildren Harley Hubbard of East New Market and Valearia Hubbard of Cambridge; nieces who she helped to raise Trisha Coulbourn and husband Fred of Cambridge and Samantha Bryant and Jason of Tilghman Island.  She is preceded in death by her parents and her husband.

A celebration of Brenda’s life will be held at a later date.  Arrangements are in the care of Thomas Funeral Home, P.A. in Cambridge.
