Bruce W. Owens

Bruce W. Owens, 59, of Cambridge passed away on Friday, December 19, 2025 at Coastal Hospice at the Lake in Salisbury. He was born in Cambridge on October 15, 1966 and was a son of the late Lawrence Faw Owens and Carolyn Faye Bradley Owens.

Bruce graduated from Cambridge South Dorchester High School class of 1984 and graduated from Salisbury State College with a bachelor’s degree in Chemistry. He worked at A.I. DuPont, Maryland Wire Belts (Cambridge International), and E.S. Hubbert’s and Son. On July 22, 2017, he married the former Brenda Hubbard. Bruce enjoyed fishing, music, grilling and loved his dog Holly Berry.

He is survived by wife Brenda Owens of Cambridge, a daughter Megan Dean and husband McKenna of Cambridge, Megan's mother Susan Howard-Owens and family of Cambridge and to his special friends that would visit him at home. He is also survived by his pet Holly Berry. Besides his parents, Bruce is preceded in death by a brother Jeffrey Owens.

Pallbearers will be Mike Parks, Brian Slacum, Don Newcomb, Fred Robinson, Tony Gillard, Jr., and Jeff Keyes.

A graveside service will be held on Monday, December 29, 2025 at 1pm at Greenlawn Cemetery with Rev. Joel Bieler officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Coastal Hospice Foundation, P.O. Box 1733, Salisbury, MD 21804. Arrangements are in the care of the Thomas Funeral Home, P.A. in Cambridge.
