Christine Anne Maggio age 71, passed away on January 6, 2026, at Chesapeake Woods at Autumn Lake, following her battle with dementia, with her daughter by her side. She was born on January 27, 1955, the second eldest of four children at Annapolis Hospital to the late Dolores and Robert Kear who was in the Navy & employed at the Annapolis Naval Academy.


Christine grew up spending summers with her cousins at their Granparents in PA making lasting memories. She enjoyed bowling from a young age, earning numerous trophies and awards for her talent and dedication. She later was on several leagues in her adult years with her Mother & sister at the Cambridge Bowling Alley. As a teenager, she pursued modeling and worked with Barbizon Modeling Agency for a few years. She graduated from Annapolis high school in 1973.


In 1974, Christine married Ross Maggio and welcomed her first child, her daughter Natasha Lee. In 1979 she moved to the West Coast to California. Here her life was a tapestry of events bringing her some of the most meaningful & joyful years of her life. While living there, she gave birth to her second child, her son Jason Michael, which marked the culmination of her time in California and guided her back home to her immediate family in Cambridge, Maryland.


Christine enjoyed crafts & loved crocheting and sewing and had a passion for cooking. She was employed at the Cambridge Yacht Club for over 20 years and 1989, Christine welcomed her third child, her son Dustin Christopher. In the early 2000’s she was employed at Warwick Manor Behavorial Health.


When not working, She enjoyed spending time with friends & her sweet chihuahua companions Daisy May & Stewart Little


Christine is survived by her daughter, Natasha Lee Maggio Foxwell; her son, Jason Michael Maggio; his partner, Kindall Ridgely; her granddaughter, Sophina, her grandson, Declan and her brother Robert Kear Jr.


She was preceded in death by her son, Dustin Christopher Maggio, her neice Tara Leigh, her sisters, Linda Collins and Deborah Palmer; her father, Robert Kear; her stepfather, John Hollingsworth and her Mother Dolores Hollingsworth.


Services will be private for family and close friends and held at a later date.


In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Baywater Animal Rescue in honor of Christine’s lifelong love of dogs and cats.
