David G. Retallack, Sr.

David G. Retallack, Sr., 81, of Cambridge passed away on Monday, March 30, 2026 at Coastal Hospice at the Lake in Salisbury. He was born in Oxford, MD on April 7, 1944 and was a son of the late William and Katie Marshall Retallack.

Mr. Retallack attended schools in Easton. On July 11, 1965, he married the former Sharon Boone. He was a heavy equipment operator with Ray Sears and Sons. Mr. Retallack enjoyed fishing, woodworking and boating.

He is survived by his wife Sharon Retallack, two sons David Retallack, Jr. and William Allan Retallack, Sr., five grandchildren, six great grandchildren, three sisters Elizabeth Gay, Shirley Blades and Phyllis Gannon, and numerous nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, Mr. Retallack is preceded in death by two brothers and four sisters.

A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, April 7, 2026 at 11am at Thomas Funeral Home, P.A. in Cambridge. Interment will follow at New Springhill Cemetery in Easton. Family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
