Deborah L. (Towers) Elliott

Deborah L. Towers-Elliott, 67, of Cambridge passed away on Tuesday, February 28, 2023 at Tidal Health Peninsula Regional. She was born in Cambridge on March 28, 1955 and was a daughter of the late James Towers, Sr. and Ruth “Kitty” Harris Langrall.

She graduated from Cambridge High School in1973. She had worked for the Choptank Memorial Post 7460 VFW as a custodian, Eastern Shore Center for Independent Living as a secretary and later worked at Crusader Arms Apartments as a grounds keeper. She enjoyed riding horses, watching TV, listening to music, going to the dirt/racetrack and Christmas was her favorite holiday.

She is survived by a daughter Brittany Sherman, a sister Vickie Towers, a step sister Patricia Gardener and several nieces and nephews. She is also survived by a lifelong friend Gail Collins. Besides her parents, Ms. Elliott is preceded in death by a brother James “Ricky” Towers, Jr.

Services will be held at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are in the care of the Thomas Funeral Home, P.A. in Cambridge.
