Elsa Klara Eisele Schnoor, 92, of Cambridge passed away on Wednesday, May 6, 2020 at her home with her loving family by her side. She was born in Aalen, Germany on January 14, 1928 and was a daughter of the late Gottlieb and Maria Lopsinger Eisele.
Mrs. Schnoor was raised and schooled in Germany and came to the United States in December of 1953 by ship. On November 27, 1954, she married Max Martin Schnoor, who passed away on August 18, 1999. Most of her life, she was a homemaker. She enjoyed cooking, sewing, canning, and baking. She was a member of Immanuel United Church of Christ.
She is survived by her children Max Schnoor, Jr. and wife Donna of Cambridge, Marianne Pepper and husband Martin of Trappe, and Freddie Schnoor and wife Tammy of Mardela Springs, eleven grandchildren Lisa, John, Andrew, Adam, Aaron, Carly, Chris, Amanda, Erica, Wesley and Elaina, seven great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents and her husband, Mrs. Schnoor is preceded in death by a sister Maria Eisele Schott, four brothers Frederick Eisele, Gottlieb Eisele, Otto Eisele and Wilhelm Eisele.
Services will be private at Old Trinity Churchyard. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Coastal Hospice Foundation, P.O. Box 1733, Salisbury, MD 21802 or to a charity of choice. Arrangements are in the care of the Thomas Funeral Home, P.A. in Cambridge.
