Eva Carol Dickinson, MD, beloved mother, grandmother, and respected physician, passed away on July 30th, 2025, at the age of 56. Born in Salisbury, Maryland, on August 18, 1968, Eva graduated from St. Peter and Paul High School, where she made many friends through her sense of humor, intelligence, and numerous sports.
She achieved her dream of becoming a doctor when she graduated from Mt Sinai School of Medicine in 1995. Her career spanned emergency medicine, forensic medicine, and pain management. She served as Co-Director of Physician Education and Forensic Medicine Programs, Director of Talbot County EMS, and an attending physician in multiple hospitals. Dr D went on to found Compassionate Pain Management, LLC in 2010, growing it from a small 600-square-foot office to a network of clinics caring for over 2,000 patients. A Major in the U.S. Army Reserves, Eva also offered her skills in service to her country. She was widely published in medical journals, presented at national conferences, and was recognized with numerous awards, including induction into the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society.
Beyond her career in medicine, she volunteered at the White Earth Indian Reservation, went on medical missions to the Dominican Republic, and volunteered with other catholic charities and orphanages.
She tirelessly worked to support her kids, Emily and Jeremy Dickinson as well as her grandaughter Yuna-Lily Dickinson-Goldman. The latter part of her life, she spent still studying medicine and volunteering at her local Fulton County Food Basket.
Services will be held at Saints Peter and Paul Church in Easton, MD on August 16th at 11am.
