Freida Kinnamon Thomas

Freida Kinnamon Thomas, 87, of East New Market passed away on Sunday, December 28, 2025 at Eden Green Assisted Living in Denton. She was born in Cambridge on September 9, 1938 and was a daughter of the late James Lee Kinnamon and Bessie Calloway Kinnamon.

Mrs. Thomas graduated from Cambridge High School Class of 1956. On June 13, 1987, she married Edward M. Thomas who passed away on August 26, 2023. Mrs. Thomas worked at the Eastern Shore Hospital Center with 30 years of service.

She is survived by two daughters Dawn Hubbard and husband Mark of East New Market, and Victoria Kelley of Blasdell, NY and numerous nieces. Besides her parents and her husband, Mrs. Thomas is preceded in death by five brothers James, Jr., Leon, Elmer, Royce, and Ralph Kinnamon and a sister Margueritte Windsor.

A funeral service will be held on Friday, January 2, 2025 at 11am at Thomas Funeral Home, P.A. in Cambridge. Interment will follow at Dorchester Memorial Park. Family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
