George O. Andrews

George O. Andrews, 91, of Crapo passed away on Tuesday, April 14, 2026 at UMSMC at Easton. He was born in Cambridge on January 28, 1935 and was a son of the late George R. and Elsie Jones Andrews.

Mr. Andrews attended schools in South Dorchester. On August 15, 1955 he married former Beulah Mae Aaron who passed away in 2014. He worked for Elzey and James construction and later with Dorchester County Roads Board. Mr. Andrews was in a band called Rhymn Rangers for over 30 years, enjoyed gardening and loved being with his family.

He is survived by five children Debbi Dodson and husband Herb of South Carolina, George Andrews, Jr. and wife Teri of Cambridge, David Andrews and wife Teresa of Cambridge, William Andrews of Ocean City and Christopher Andrews of Cambridge, five grandchildren Angela Andrews, David Andrews, James Andrews, Jody Dodson, and Cody Foxwell, two great grandson and several nieces and nephews. Beside his parents and his wife, Mr. Andrews is preceded in death by a sister and three brothers.

Family will receive friends on Monday, April 20, 2026 from 11am to 12pm at Thomas Funeral Home, P.A. in Cambridge followed by a graveside service at 12:30pm at Dorchester Memorial Park.
