Jacqueline J. Hyser

Jacqueline J. Hyser, 79, of Cambridge passed away on Sunday, July 26, 2026 at Coastal Hospice at the Lake in Salisbury surrounded by her family. She was born on July 20, 1947 to the late Douglas E. Moser and Betty J. Dunfee Moser.

Mrs. Hyser graduated from Glen Burnie High School class of 1965. She then married Harry G. Hyser on September 25, 1965. Mrs. Hyser worked in real estate for 27 years while she owned and worked for Hyser Carryout with her husband. She enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren, going to the beach and attending yard sales. Mrs. Hyser was the president of the Dorchester County Board of Realtors for a year, a member of the Dorchester County Foster Care Review Board, and held several positions throughout her lifetime at Antioch United Methodist Church.

Mrs. Hyser is survived by her husband Harry Hyser of Cambridge, two children; Becky Kroeger and husband Tim of Easton and Christopher Hyser of Cambridge, six grandchildren; Ashlyn, Jakob, Karmen, Michael, Jamie-Lynn and Molly and three great-grandchildren; Ava, Braxton and Nataliya. Besides her parents, Mrs. Hyser is preceded in death by a son, Rusty Hyser, a sister Patricia Johnson and her grandmother Kathleen Wingate.

A memorial service will take place on Saturday, August 1, 2026 at Antioch United Methodist Church at 12 PM with Rev. John Long officiating. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to Coastal Hospice, P.O. Box 1733, Salisbury, MD 21802 or Baywater Animal Rescue, 4930 Bucktown Road, Cambridge, MD 21613. Arrangements are in the care of Thomas Funeral Home, P.A.
