James Austin Windsor

James Austin Windsor, 75, of Madison passed away on Thursday, August 14, 2025 at his home with his family by his side. He was born in Crocheron on July 1, 1950 and was a son of the late Crawford Windsor, Sr. and Marylou Moore Windsor.

He was a waterman his whole life. He loved crabbing, oystering and his favorite past time was fishing. Even up to his death Jimmy wanted to be out on his boat. Jimmy enjoyed coaching ball when the kids were younger, this gave him great pleasure. His greatest joy were his granddaughters Annabelle and Kaylee whom brought so much love to him and many smiles.

He is survived by his wife Christine Coulbourne Windsor whom he married on April 21, 1995, son Jason Arthur Windsor (Stacey) his granddaughters Annabelle and Kaylee Windsor who were his whole heart, son Jacob Alexander Coulbourne-Windsor, sister Cathy Mitchell (Jay), brother Steven Windsor (Renee), several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins and many-many special friends and his dog Bear. Besides his parents, Jimmy was preceded in death by a brother Crawford Windsor, Jr., sister Ann Fitzhugh, daughter Jamie Ellis and mother-in-law Lessie Coulbourne.

At Jimmy’s request, services will be private. Arrangements are in the care of the Thomas Funeral Home, P.A. in Cambridge.
