James R. Wheatley

James R. Wheatley, 81, of Trappe passed away on Monday, September 1, 2025. He was born in Cambridge on August 22, 1944 and was a son of the late Roland E. Wheatley, Jr. and Bettye Dean Wheatley.

Mr. Wheatley graduated from Cambridge High School class of 1962. He and his brother Bobby were owners of Parts Wholesale.

He is survived by his wife Mary Lee Wheatley, a son Eric Wheatley, a daughter Crystal Wheatley, a brother Bobby Wheatley and wife Penny, a sister Kathy Leonard and husband Michael, and several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, Mr. Wheatley is preceded in death by a daughter Monica Wheatley and a sister Lisa Collison.
