Jason C. Marsh

Jason C. Marsh, 59, passed away on February 23, 2026, after a long and courageous battle with cancer.

Born on August 19, 1966, in Cambridge, Maryland, Jason was the son of Barbara Wilson Marsh and the late Merritt Paul Marsh of Cambridge, Maryland. He was preceded in death by his father, Merritt Paul Marsh, who passed away in 1979, as well as his grandparents Russell Wilson, Myra Slacum, Margaret Marsh, and Merritt Ranford Marsh.

He is survived by his loving mother, Barbara Marsh of Cambridge, Maryland, and his two brothers, Eric Marsh and Matthew Marsh.

In his younger years, Jason was fiercely competitive on the soccer field and on the tennis court. Many in the Cambridge community will remember him beginning with his time at Dairy Queen as a young man, followed by his years of service at Acme grocery store. He later worked in long partnership alongside his mother at the Creek Deli, and most recently at Walgreens Pharmacy in Easton, Maryland.

Jason had an amazing sense of humor and was truly one of a kind. Quite the character, he brought personality and laughter wherever he went and will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

A celebration of life will be held on Friday, February 27, 2026 at Thomas Funeral Home, P.A. at 2 PM with Rev. Steve Bloodsworth officiating. Family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to Open Bible Church, 1619 Race Street, Cambridge, MD 21613.
