Kathleen E. Andrews

Kathleen E. Andrews, 67, of Cambridge passed away on Wednesday, August 26, 2026 at UMSMC at Easton. She was born in Cambridge on August 27, 1958 and was a daughter of the late Rufus Melvin Keene and Alice Irene Holley Keene.

She graduated from South Dorchester High School class of 1977. Mrs. Andrews was a CNA and worked for several nursing homes and in home care. On September 9, 2003 she married Charles Michael Andrews who passed away on July 17, 2025. She enjoyed reading, and spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

She is survived by two daughters Jennifer Tinsley and husband Jud of Hurlock and Krystal Sheeler and husband Bobby of Cambridge and a son Thurman Cannon and wife Caitlin of Cambridge, six grandchildren, two great grandchild, a sister Ann Keene of Cambridge and a brother William Keene and wife Mary Jane of Cambridge and a niece SueAnn Anderson of Cambridge and her grand cat Mr. Meowgi. Besides her parents and her husband, Mrs. Andrews is preceded in death by a step mother Susie Keene and a stepdaughter Bonnie Andrews.

A celebration of life will be held on Tuesday, September 1, 2026 at 1pm at Thomas Funeral Home, P.A. with Rev. Gary Hickman officiating. Family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
