Lenora T. McMahan

Lenora T. McMahan, 90, of Cambridge passed away on Thursday, October 2, 2008 at her daughter's home. She was born in Wingate on March 1, 1918. She was a daughter of the late Sangston Waylon and Florence Bradford Todd.

Mrs. McMahan graduated from Cambridge High School in 1936. On July 30, 1938 she married Marvin Howard McMahan. He passed away on January 8, 1983. She was a homemaker.

She is survived by a daughter Tyann Gore and husband Chick of Airey's, a son Charles T. McMahan and wife Judy of East New Market, three grandchildren Chad Gore, Shannon Gore and Damon Gore, 4 great grandchildren, a sister Regina Harding of Cambridge, two brothers Reginald Todd of East New Market and Louis T. Todd of Hurlock and several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents and her husband, Mrs. McMahan is preceded in death by two sisters Anna Mae Todd and Charlotte Rue and two brothers William W. Todd and Sangston Todd.

A graveside service will be held on Monday, October 6, 2008 at 1p.m. at Dorchester Memorial Park with Rev. Mary Ann Farnell officiating. Memorial contributions can be made to the Dorchester County Humane Society, P.O. Box 132, Cambridge, MD 21613.
