Linda G. (Brooks) Bradley

Linda G. Bradley, 73, of Salisbury passed away on Friday, January 14, 2022 at TidalHealth Peninsula Regional in Salisbury. She was born in Mineral, VA on July 15, 1948 and was a daughter of the late Wesley and Willie Sprouse Brooks.

She attended schools in Delaware and in Maryland and later received her GED. On November 30, 2002, she married John Bradley. Mrs. Bradley was an LPN at Dorchester General Hospital and retired in 2011. She also was a caregiver for a few years. Mrs. Bradley enjoyed gardening, loved her pets, and going out to restaurants.

She is survived by her husband John Bradley of Salisbury, two sons George Wharton of Salisbury and Gregory Newcomb of Salisbury, two grandchildren Erica Booze and Kaitlyn Wharton, three step children Ginger Risher and husband Matt of Salisbury, Traci Bradley of Michigan and Janel Bradley of Cambridge, step grandchildren Brittany Bounds, Amanda Shanahan, and Erin Wilson, and several step great grandchildren, a sister Joan Brooks of Trappe and several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, Mrs. Bradley is preceded in death by a sister Joyce Harris and four brothers Ira Brooks, Sr., Willie Brooks, Sr., Wilson Brooks, Sr., and Ernest Brooks.

Pallbearers will be Greg Newcomb, George Wharton, Ryan Shaw, Rick Martin, Zack Fields and Steve Ward.

A funeral service will be held on Monday, January 24, 2022 at 1 pm at Thomas Funeral Home, P.A. in Cambridge with Rev. Tim Dukes officiating. Interment will follow at East New Market Cemetery. Family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
