Lois K. Christopher

Lois K. Christopher, 90, of Cambridge passed away on Friday, May 29, 2026, at The Dixon House in Easton. She was born on December 14, 1935, in Cambridge to the late Peyton A. Hurley and Rosalie Johnson Hurley.

Mrs. Christopher attended schools in Cambridge. In 1953, she married the late William A. Christopher who passed away on December 1, 2000. Mrs. Christopher had a Daycare business for 50 years and cared for over 100 children in the time span. She enjoyed gardening, reading, sewing, and taking care of children. Mrs. Christopher was a member of AARP and the Dorchester General Hospital Auxiliary.

Mrs. Christopher is survived by her brother Payton “Sonny” Hurley; her children Deborah Weber, Dinah Christopher, Christine Pridgen, William Christopher and Michael Christopher; grandchildren: Robert Burton, Jason Weber, Jeremy Weber, Alison Warfield, Lauren Zacharko, Noah Christopher, Seth Christopher and 10 great grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, June 3, 2026 at Dorchester Memorial Park at 11 AM with Steve Bloodsworth officiating. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Talbot Hospice, 586 Cynwood Dr, Easton, MD 21601 or The Dixon House, 108 N. Higgins St, Easton, MD 21601. Arrangements are in the care of Thomas Funeral Home, P.A. in Cambridge.
