Nettie Marion (Jones) Powley

Nettie M. Powley, 86, of Crapo, passed away on Thursday, May 5, 2016 at Chesapeake Woods Center. She was born in Crapo on April 28, 1930 and was a daughter of the late John and Mary Ethel Moore Jones.
Mrs. Powley attended schools in Crapo. She had worked in the canning factories and later in the seafood factories. On November 8, 1980, she married Omro W. Powley, who passed away on January 31, 2001.
She is survived by a sister Frances Edwards of Crapo, nephew Richard Edwards and wife Tammy of Hurlock, a niece Brenda Moore of Havre De Grace, MD, two great nephews Mike Edgar and wife Heather of Hurlock, Sean Edgar and wife Jackie of Havre De Grace, MD, four great- great nephews and a great- great niece.
A graveside service will be held on Monday, May 9, 2016 at 2 pm at Dorchester Memorial Park with Rev. Michael LaClair officiating. Arrangements are in the care of the Thomas Funeral Home, P.A. in Cambridge.
