Patricia A. Linthicum

Patricia A. Linthicum, 74, of Cambridge passed away on Saturday, February 12, 2022 at Coastal Hospice at the Lake in Salisbury. She was born in Woolford on March 7, 1947 and was a daughter of the late Willard J. and Mildred Dixon Linthicum.

Ms. Linthicum grew up in Woolford and later moved to Cambridge and graduated from Cambridge High School class of 1965. She had worked for McCrory’s Discount Store and later at Hubbard’s Pharmacy. Ms. Linthicum enjoyed shopping, reading, crocheting and spending time with family. She was a lifelong member of Milton United Methodist Church in Woolford and was also a Sunday School teacher.

She is survived by a sister Shirley Linthicum Bell, a brother Willard J. “Jim” Linthicum, Jr., a niece Shelley Bell (Matt), a nephew Gerald “Jerry” Bell, Jr. (Karen), great niece Sarah Bell, great nephew Andrew Bell, great-great nephews Leo and Luke DiLuzio and her beloved pet Snickers. Besides her parents, Ms. Linthicum is preceded in death by a special brother in law Gerald “Jerry” Bell, Sr.

A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, February 22, 2022 at 2 pm at Thomas Funeral Home, P.A. in Cambridge with Rev. Ben Allen officiating. Interment will be private at Old Trinity Churchyard. Family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Milton United Methodist Church, P.O. Box 106, Woolford, MD 21677.
