Patty L. Jones

Patty L. Jones, 66, of Hebron passed away on Tuesday, November 25, 2025 at her home. She was born in Tacoma, Washington at McChord Field Air Force Base on February 6, 1959 to the late Lt. Colonel Edward “Ray” Fender and Henny Fender.

Patty was a nurse for more than 35 years, mainly at Chesapeake Woods – Genesis. During her time as a nurse she spent her time caring for the elderly and Alzheimer’s patients.

Patty enjoyed watching cooking shows, especially America’s Test Kitchen. She also loved collecting antiques and watching Chesapeake Antique Road Show. Patty adored all things Charlie Brown and Snoopy related. Her favorite time of the year was the Christmas season. But, above all things Patty loved to be with her family and spend summer vacations with her grandchildren, that’s where you could find her smiling most.

Patty is survived by her three children Cindy Coker, Melissa Foxwell and husband Wayne and Ricky Coker, five grandchildren Cole Coker, Miranda Cook and husband Anthony, Skyla Foxwell, Lily Cook and Kaden Cook.

Besides her parents Patty is preceded in death by a sister Linda Lowman, a brother Bruce Fender, and a granddaughter Aubrey Foxwell.

A funeral service will be held on Friday, December 5, 2025 at Thomas Funeral Home, P.A. at 12 PM with Rev. Jayson Bleyer officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Memorial contributions can be made to Thomas Funeral Home, P.A., 700 Locust Street, Cambridge MD 21613.
