He also had a passion for anything related to cars, whether it was restoring classic vehicles or attending car shows.

Philip cherished spending time with his family and friends, especially his grandchildren who will remember him for always showing up with balloons in hand no matter the occasion.

Philip leaves behind his children Melissa Guldan (Matt) and Seth Young and his grandchildren Mason and Adalynn Haugh, his siblings David Young (Lisa) of Wheatland, WY, Victoria Duchman of Linden, PA, Susan Brittain (H. Thomas) of Muncy, PA, Linda Gordner (Roger) of Millville, PA, and Angela Maietta (Philip) of Myrtle Beach, SC, and numerous nieces and nephews who will miss him dearly. In addition to his parents, Philip was preceded in death by his siblings Richard Young, Martha Jordan and Dale Young.

A memorial service to celebrate Philip’s life will be held on Monday, March 25, 2024 at 1pm at Thomas Funeral Home, P.A. in Cambridge with Rev. Tonya McClain officiating. Family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
