Richard B. Todd

Richard B. Todd, 85, of Cambridge passed away on Sunday, October 26, 2025 at Delmar Nursing and Rehab in Delmar, DE. He was born in Cambridge on July 4, 1940 and was a son of the late Phillip B. and Anna Dunn Todd.

Mr. Todd graduated from Cambridge High School class of 1958. Mr. Todd served in the U.S. Navy and was a Machinist Mate on the U.S.S. Corry. He married the former Gail Phillips who passed away on October 19, 2021. Mr. Todd worked at Engles and later with the family business Home Beautiful. He enjoyed wood working, square dancing, playing cards with his friends and being with their sons during their years playing sports. He was member of Friendship Church.

He is survived by two sons Ricky Todd (Julie) of Cambridge, Randy Todd (Kim) of Delmar, DE, a granddaughter Amanda Lord (Justin) of Delmar, DE, two great grandchildren Kendel and James, five step grandchildren Kaitlin Hardican, Hunter and Aubrie James, Peter and Makayla Musgrove, many step great grandchildren, a brother Phil Todd of Tennessee, and several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents and his wife, Mr. Todd is preceded in death by a sister Phyllis Thomas.

A celebration of life will be held on Tuesday, November 4, 2025 at 1pm at Thomas Funeral Home, P.A. in Cambridge with Rev. Shelley McCollister officiating. Family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
