Richard E. Cashen

Richard E. Cashen, 75, of Salisbury passed away on Monday, July 6, 2026 at Tidal Health Peninsula Regional in Salisbury. He was born on January 28, 1951 to the late Thomas J. Cashen, Sr. and Cecelia R. Davis Cashen.

Mr. Cashen graduated from Brooklyn Park Junior/Senior High School in Anne Arundel County class of 1969. Richard enjoyed drawing, creating art and building different things. He also loved plants and fostering all kinds of animals.

Mr. Cashen is survived by his four siblings; Jeannette Olesen of Florida, Debra Jenkins (Owen) of South Carolina, Lawrence “Larry” Cashen (Kim) of Taneytown and Linda Nix of Essex. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Besides his parents Mr. Cashen is preceded in death by four siblings; Thomas J. Cashen, Jr., Claire Weaver, Alan Desrosiers and Elaine Becker, as well as his step-mother Alice Desrosiers Cashen.

Services will held at the family’s convenience. Arrangements are in the care of Thomas Funeral Home, P.A. in Cambridge.
