Richard "Ricky" M. McCollister

Richard “Ricky” M. McCollister, 55, of East New Market passed away on Sunday, July 30, 2023 at UMSMC at Easton. He was born in Cambridge on December 25, 1967 and was a son of Frances Miller McCollister and the late Carl S. McCollister, Jr.

Ricky graduated from North Dorchester High School. On January 17, 1998 he married the former Karen Hall. Ricky was owner of McCollister’s Electric. He enjoyed gardening, fishing, listening to music, and treasurer hunting.

He is survived by his wife Karen McCollister, two daughters Hannah McCollister and Megan Raughton, two grandsons Tristen Raughton and Noah Raughton, his mother Frances McCollister, two brothers Ronnie McCollister and wife Sandy and Terry McCollister and wife Donna and numerous nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, August 16, 2023 at 12pm at Thomas Funeral Home, P.A. in Cambridge with Rev. George W. Wheatley, Jr. Family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
