Robert A. Willey

Robert A. Willey, 61, of Cambridge passed away on Friday, September 20, 2019 at his home.  He was born in Taylor’s Island on August 24, 1958 to the late Elmer Willey and Constance Tanski Willey.

Robert graduated from Cambridge High School class of 1976.  He served in the United States Marines Corps from 1975 to 1982.  On July 12, 1986, Robert married the former Mary Ann Hurley.  He worked on the water most of his life.  He was a member of the Choptank Memorial Post 7640 VFW.

Robert is survived by his wife Mary Ann of Cambridge, two children Courtney Atkinson and fiancée Tyler Smith, and Matthew Willey and wife Amber, two grandchildren Dominic and Savannah Willey, a brother Jarrell Willey and wife Cynthia of Florida, and special companions Isabella, Camille, and Tucker.

At Robert’s request, there will be no services.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be sent to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.  Arrangements are in the care of Thomas Funeral Home, P.A. in Cambridge, MD.
