Rodney J. Medford

Rodney J. Medford, 61, of Preston passed away on Friday, April 19, 2024 at Talbot Hospice in Easton. He was born in East New Market on February 14, 1963 and was a son of the late Lester and Betty Kyger Medford.

Mr. Medford graduated from North Dorchester High School class of 1981. He served in the U.S. Navy. Mr. Medford was a handyman doing odd jobs. He enjoyed hunting, and sports. 

He is survived by two children Rodney J. Medford, Jr. and wife Raven of Delmar, DE and a daughter Christina Medford of Bridgeville, DE, four grandchildren, a sister Barbara Medford Tibbs of Vienna and several nieces and nephews. 

A funeral service will be held on Friday, April 26, 2024 at 12pm at the Maryland Veterans Cemetery near Hurlock with Pastor Doug Brubaker officiating. Arrangements are in the care of the Thomas Funeral Home, P.A. in Cambridge.
