Ronald J. Perry, Sr.

Ronald J. Perry, Sr., 79, of Cambridge passed away on Tuesday, January 13, 2025 at his home. He was born in Cambridge on May 26, 1946 and was a son of the late William H. Perry, Sr. and Blanche Horner Perry.

Mr. Perry graduated from Cambridge High School class of 1964. He served in the U.S. Army Air Bourne serving during Vietnam and honorable discharge at the rank of Staff Sgt. Mr. Perry was married to the former late Constance M. Phillips who passed away January 17, 1997. Mr. Perry worked for Bumble Bee Tuna, and later at Perdue and Allen's Food in Hurlock.

He is survived by three children a son Ronald J. Perry, Jr. and wife Jolynn of Bloxom, VA, daughter Laurie Thomas and husband Timmy of Tangier Island, daughter Mary Kate Bradford and husband Steven of Tasley, VA, six grandchildren Austin Perry- Pruitt and wife Melissa, Reyanna Wade, Jaxson Thomas, Aspen Perry, Caleb Perry, and Grayson Bradford, a sister Sonja Kozak of Cambridge, two brothers George Wayne Perry of Felton, DE and Bobby Perry and wife Evelyn of Cambridge, two special nieces Kim James and husband Eddie, and Tammy Burns and several other nieces and nephews. He is also survived by his two pets Tugger and BooBoo, brother in law Jackie Phillips and wife Linda of Church Creek. Besides his parents and his wife, Mr. Perry is preceded in death by two brothers William H. Perry, Jr. and Douglas W. “Pete” Perry and a sister in law Evelyn Jean Davidson and his late walking companion pet Toby.

A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, January 22, 2026 at 11am at Thomas Funeral Home, P.A. in Cambridge with Rev. Gary Hickman officiating. Family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Coastal Hospice Foundation, P.O.
