Ryan P. Fowler

February 10, 1971 — December 22, 2022

Ryan Patrick Fowler, 51, of Cambridge died suddenly on December 20, 2022. Ryan, who was born in Easton February 10, 1971, graduated from Easton High School and spent his career in the retail grocery business, mostly recently for 20 years with Acme supermarkets at several locations on the shore. Prior to that, he worked for Doc’s Quik Shop in Easton.

Ryan and his twin brother Ray B. Fowler, who as toddlers in 1972 lived in Stoneyridge, were somewhat of a Christmas sensation when their picture opening their gifts appeared on the front page of the Star Democrat. Ryan loved the beach and animals.

Ryan is preceded in death by his father Ralph B. Fowler of Easton, and his grandparents Ray and Virginia Fowler of Easton and Reese and Geneva Henry of Cambridge. He is survived by his twin Ray B. Fowler and wife Melissa of Turtle Creek, PA; their mother E. Rosalie Lankford of Scottsdale, AZ; and his sister and brother in law Reese A. Nank and Jeffrey W. Nank, also of Scottsdale, AZ; and his aunt Dianne Cronshaw of Centreville.  Ryan also has two nieces, Kelsey R. Fowler of Taylor’s Island and Kaylee Fowler of Turtle Creek, PA.

His body was cremated at Thomas Funeral Home in Cambridge. The family asks that in lieu of flowers or other memorials, gifts be sent to the Baywater Animal Rescue, 4930 Bucktown Road, Cambridge, MD that took in Ryan’s three beloved cats – Bert, Ernie and Lucy.
