Sara M. "Sister" Beckwith

Sara M. “Sister” Beckwith, 97, of Cambridge passed away on Wednesday, November 5, 2025 at her home. She was born in Petersburg on April 21, 1928 and was a daughter of the late Alonzo and Inez Todd Marine. She as married to W. Roger Beckwith who passed away on July 23, 2007.

A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, November 12, 2025 at 12pm at Zion United Methodist Church with Rev.’s Jim Pugh and Tonya McClain officiating. Interment will follow at Unity Washington Cemetery. Family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Zion United Methodist Church General Fund, 612 Locust Street, Cambridge, MD 21613.
