Sharon R. Duckworth

Sharon R. Duckworth, 76, of Cambridge passed away on Tuesday, January 2, 2024 at UMSMC at Easton. She was born in Baltimore on May 18, 1947 and was a daughter of the late Fred and Evelyn Drew Duckworth.

Ms. Duckworth worked at Walmart for 15 years and she would be a fill in as an organist for several churches in the area. She enjoyed music, and gardening.

She is survived by her daughter Elizabeth Tolson of Cambridge, two grandchildren Patrick Barnes and Christian Barnes, a sister Mary Rigby of Westminster and a brother Samuel Duckworth of Annapolis, and numerous nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, Ms. Duckworth is preceded in death by her siblings Fred Duckworth, Dave Duckworth, Gail Woolford, and Rachel Hurt.   

A funeral service will be held on Friday, January 5, 2024 at 1pm at Thomas Funeral Home, P.A. in Cambridge with Rev. Chris Pettit officiating. Interment will follow at East New Market Cemetery. Family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
