Shelby Jean Lutz

Shelby Jean Lutz, 85, of Cambridge, passed away at home surrounded by her family on February 8, 2024. She was born on November 20, 1938 to McCullough and Monnie Johnson.

Shelby was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother and she is survived by her husband of 58 years, Wilbert Lutz; her children Stephanie and Duane (Kathy); her grandchildren Brittani, Jonathan (Aireana), and Richard; her great-grandchildren Nova Ann and Cody Lee; and her faithful dog Poppy. She will also be leaving behind two sisters Sharon Taylor (Gerald) and Lena DelCamp (Benjamin) and as well as several nieces and nephews.  She is preceded in death by a sister Lottie Belle Slacum.

Shelby was a wonderful person who will forever be remembered by those who knew her. She was an avid lover of flowers and doing crafts. She was loved dearly and will be missed.

A private service will be held at a later date, and her interment will be at Maryland Eastern Shore Veterans Cemetery. In lieu of flowers please donate to Baywater Animal Rescue, 4930 Bucktown Road, Cambridge, MD 21613. Arrangements are in the care of the Thomas Funeral Home, P.A. in Camridge.
