Steven L. Barnett

Steven L. Barnett, 56, of Federalsburg passed away on Tuesday, February 6, 2018 at his home. He was born in Baltimore City on October 12, 1961 and was a son of Mary Cox Gehring and the late Robert G. Barnett.

He graduated from North Dorchester High School. He was self-employed with a repairing pallet business. Steve enjoyed playing tennis, fishing, riding bikes, running, and playing chess.

He is survived by two children Clint Barnett of Towson and Carla Barnett of Cambridge, his mother Mary Gehring and stepfather Jim of Federalsburg, a brother Richard G. Barnett, Sr. and wife Cindy of Florida, a sister Theresa Ferris and husband George of Baltimore, several nieces and nephews. Besides his father, Steve is preceded in death by a nephew Ricky Barnett, Jr.

Services will be held at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are in the care of Thomas Funeral Home, P.A. in Cambridge.
