Thomas K. Cronshaw

Thomas K. (Tom, Tommy) Cronshaw of Lake Placid, FL and Easton, MD passed away on Friday, November 21, 2025 at UMSMC at Easton. He was born in Church Hill MD on Sept. 12, 1938. He was a third generation Native Eastern Shoreman. He graduated from Centreville High School in 1956. He served in the United States Marine Corps. Married Ethel Mae Chance on May 15, 1959 who passed away on August 14, 2022. They have two sons Scott (Lisa) and Jeffrey (Caryn). Scott and Lisa have two children, Leah (Antoine) [Kai and Josie] and Levin, Jeffrey and Angie (Deceased) have two sons Justin (Megan) [Daxton, Dawson and Decker] Joshua (Kat) [Annie & Cora].

Tom liked anything to do with the water, boats, fishing, crabbing and just cruising. Tom had a 34-year career in the Insurance industry, the last 26 years as an Independent Insurance Broker/Agent. During those years he had many Professional Memberships, specialized schooling and associations. He had been active in Easton Little League Baseball, Football and the Cub Scouts. He served on the Easton Utilities Commission for 12 years. He was a 40 + years member of The Easton Lions Club. He was a Melvin Jones Fellow from The Lions Clubs International Foundation. He was a volunteer with the Hospital Auxiliary and a life member of the Elks. He was a current member of St. Marks United Methodist Church.

A funeral service will be held on Monday, December 1, 2025 at 1pm at St. Mark’s United Methodist Church in Easton with Rev. Meredith West officiating. Interment will follow at New Springhill Cemetery. Family will receive friends from 12pm to 1pm. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to St. Mark's United Methodist Church, 100 Peachblossom Road, Easton, MD 21601. Arrangements are in the care of the Thomas Funeral Home, P.A. in Cambridge.
