Thomas E. Seger

Thomas E. Seger, 82, of Cambridge passed away on Wednesday, December 5, 2012 at Mallard Bay Care Center. He was born in Washington, DC on August 21, 1930 and was a son of the late Thomas M. and Cartha Groves Seger.
Mr. Seger attended schools in Washington, DC. He served ten years in the U.S. Army, where he served during the Korean War. He married the former Patricia Bowling. Mr. Seger had his own painting business. He enjoyed fishing and playing cards.
He is survived by his wife Patricia Seger of Cambridge, twelve children, numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. He is also survived by a brother and four sisters.
Pallbearers will be Thomas Jackson III, Roy Jackson, Timmy Jackson, Billy Jackson, David Peters and Danny Townshend.
A funeral service will be held on Monday, December 10, 2012 at noon at Thomas Funeral Home, P.A. in Cambridge with Father William Lawler officiating. Interment will follow at the Maryland Veterans Cemetery. Family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
