T. William "Bill" McGinn

T. William “Bill” McGinn passed away on Friday, November 2, 2018 at his home. He was 82. He was born on March 26, 1936 in Cambridge and was a son of the late William L. McGinn and Hazel Tubman Messick.

He graduated from Cambridge High School class of 1954. Mr. McGinn served in the U.S. Army and was employed by the State of Maryland Comptroller office for 27 years. On January 30, 1958, he married the former Anna Ruth Shepherd.He was a lifetime member of the Choptank Memorial Post 7460 V.F.W.

He is survived by his wife Anna Ruth McGinn of 60 years, two daughters Patti Foxwell (David) and Sallie Foxwell (Jeffery), grandchildren Brooke Hayden, Jeffery Foxwell II and Samantha Foxwell and seven great grandchildren, two sisters Frances Eskridge (Ellis), Sybil Jones (Donald) and a brother Kenny Edgar (Judy), and several nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held on Thursday, November 8, 2018 at 2 pm at the Maryland Eastern Shore Veterans Cemetery with Rev. A. Delmer Willey, Jr. officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Choptank Memorial Post 7460 V.F.W., 115 Sandy Hill Road, Cambridge, MD 21613 or to the American Cancer Society, 1315 Mt. Herman Road, Suite D, Salisbury, MD 21804. Arrangements are in the care of the Thomas Funeral Home, P.A. in Cambridge.
