Vincent "Vince" S. Gordon

Vincent “Vince” S. Gordon, 67, of Church Creek passed away on Tuesday, September 15, 2026 at his home. He was born on October 15, 1958 in Cambridge to Delores L. Prahl Gordon and the late Carroll A. Gordon.

Vince graduated from Wilmington High School class of 1976. He married the former Lori Jackson on May 13, 1977. Vince worked many years as a pipefitter. He enjoyed camping, fishing, traveling and trains. Vince was a member of the Cambridge Church of the Nazarene.

Vince is survived his wife of 49 years Lori Gordon of Church Creek, two daughters; Desiree Ann Gordon (Jo Gordon) of Westover, MD and Faith Gordon of Church Creek; three granddaughters; Amy Reyes (Shawn), Megan (Grant) Pollak and Emily Christian (Dain), a great-granddaughter Evelyne Christian, a sister Christine Moran (Rob), a brother Mike Thetford (Amy) and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Vince is preceded in death a brother Ray Gordon, his son Andrew Gordon, step-father Charles Moran and numerous aunts and uncles.
