William G. "Greg" Rhea

William G. “Greg” Rhea, 75, of Cambridge passed away on Sunday, June 28, 2026 at UMSMC at Easton. He was born on December 19, 1950 to the late William Ivy Rhea and Frances Marie Flowers Rhea.

Greg graduated from South Dorchester High School class of 1971. On June 14, 1975 he married the former Kay Elzey. Greg worked as a waterman for many years and later became an electrician working for Brambles Electric, Barnes and Forney, and Airpax where he retired. After retiring he helped out his family at Kay's Kitchen and Kay's at the Airport. Greg enjoyed coaching softball in his younger years, golfing, fishing, crabbing and barbequing and smoking meats.

Greg is survived by his wife of 51 years Kay Rhea of Cambridge, a daughter Katie Rhea of Cambridge and three sisters; Heidi Adams (Ricky) of Secretary, Linda Seward of Hudson and Charlotte Haemsch (Buddy) of Seaford, DE along with several nieces and nephews.

Besides his parents Greg is preceded in death by a sister Suzanne Bridge and three brothers; David Rhea, Roland Rhea and Lawrence Rhea.

A funeral service will be held on Thursday, July 2, 2026 at Thomas Funeral Home, P.A. at 12 PM with Rev. Randall Blackmon officiating. Family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
