William “Bill” S. Wolinski, 78, of Crocheron passed away on Wednesday, February 4, 2026 at Coastal Hospice at the Lake. He was born in Baltimore on July 7, 1947 to the late Steven and Helen Rose Wolinski.
Mr. Wolinski graduated from Overlea High School as the valedictorian, class of 1965. He then attended the University of Rochester in New York and graduated in 1969 with his bachelor’s degree in chemistry. In 1970, Mr. Wolinski was drafted and became a Marine where he served for two years during the Vietnam War. After his service, Mr. Wolinski went to Johns Hopkins University and graduated with his master’s degree in Environmental Engineering. After college, he worked in Water Quality for the City of Baltimore for 17 years, Kent, Washington for 14 years and Talbot County for 14 years. Mr. Wolinski married the former Aurillia “Jewel” Jeffers on October 2, 1988.
Mr. Wolinski enjoyed fishing, playing the guitar, reading, collecting music, gardening and anything that had to do with animals. But above all, he loved spending time with his family, as he was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, uncle and friend.
Mr. Wolinski is survived by his wife Aurillia “Jewel” Wolinski of Crocheron; two daughters Kristie Kerrigan and husband Steven of Delta, PA and Dawn Vogel and husband Michael of Omaha, NE; five grandsons Wayne, Brandon, Bryce, Cameron and Mason; one great grand-daughter Scarlett and six siblings, Steven Woods and wife Shayla of the West Coast, Bernadine Esposito from Connecticut, Helen Campbell and husband Mark of New Hampshire, Jeanne Magee of Baltimore, Carol Lopez and husband Leo of Baltimore and Irene Glorioso and husband Steven of Baltimore and numerous nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents, Mr. Wolinski is preceded in death by two nieces Misha Lee and Stefanie Glorioso Schafer and a brother-in-law Mike Esposito.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 14, 2026 at Thomas Funeral Home, P.A. at 1 PM with Father Nicholas Sichangi officiating. Family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
