William "BJ" J Shorter, III

William “BJ” J. Shorter III, 39, of Cambridge passed away on Wednesday, April 11, 2018 at his home. He was born in Cambridge on July 5, 1978 and was a son of Susan Adams Shorter.

He graduated with honors from Cambridge South Dorchester High School class of 1996. BJ worked as an auto glass technician. He was a very hard worker and very devoted to his career. BJ enjoyed reading and talking about cars, spending time with his family and friends.

He is survived by his wife Jennifer Shorter of Cambridge, two children Austin Shorter and Avery Shorter both of Cambridge, his mother Susan Shorter of Cambridge, and several aunts, uncles and cousins.  BJ is preceded in death by his grandparents Harold and Barbara Adams, great grandmother Pearl McDowell, a cousin Jamie Ellis and a mother in law Susan Bishop.

A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, April 18, 2018 at 1 pm at Thomas Funeral Home, P.A. in Cambridge. Interment will follow at Old Trinity Churchyard. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Thomas Funeral Home, P.A., 700 Locust Street, Cambridge, MD 21613.
