William C. "Chuckie" Stevens, Jr.

William C. “Chuckie” Stevens, Jr., 47, of Cambridge passed away on Tuesday, February 12, 2019 at his home. He was born in Cambridge on April 9, 1971 and was a son of William “Billy” C. Stevens, Sr. and the late Linda Brittingham Stevens.

Chuckie attended schools in Cambridge. He had worked for several businesses including being a watermen, John W. Tieders and at Chesapeake Nursery. Chuckie enjoyed collecting die cast fire trucks. He was a lifetime member of Madison Volunteer Fire Company and a member of Church Creek Volunteer Fire Company.

He is survived by father Billy Stevens of Cambridge, three brothers Ralph Stevens of Cambridge, Larry Stevens and his wife Ginger of Linkwood and David Stevens and fiancée Teresa Anthony of Laurel, DE, and a sister Terry Shearman and her husband Todd of Easton, a cousin that was like a sister Donna Blann of Woolford and  several nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be members of the Church Creek Fire Company.

A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, February 19, 2019 at 11 am at Thomas Funeral Home, P.A. in Cambridge with Bishop Anthony Dickerson officiating. Interment will follow at Dorchester Memorial Park. Family will receive friends on Monday evening from 6 to 8 pm. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Thomas Funeral Home, P.A., 700 Locust Street, Cambridge, MD 21613 to help defray funeral cost.
