Audrey M. (Abbott) Murphy

Audrey M. Murphy, 87, of Toddville passed away on Saturday, May 7, 2022 at Bayleigh Chase in Easton. She was born in Toddville on April 16, 1935 and was a daughter of the late Edison and Pauline Wingate Abbott.

Mrs. Murphy attended schools in Toddville and Crapo and graduated from Crapo High School in 1952. On August 6, 1957, she married Orem Stengle Murphy who passed away on May 28, 1993. Mrs. Murphy worked at numerous crab houses. She was a member of Zion United Methodist Church at Toddville and Lakes & Straits Volunteer Fire Company.

She is survived by several family members Joyce Tall of Toddville, Michael Tall of Toddville and several cousins Douglas, Steven, Liz and Sandy Abbott. Besides her parents and her husband, Mrs. Murphy is preceded in death by a sister Betty Tall, a nephew Delmos “Teddy” Tall and a niece Michelle Tall.

A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, May 17, 2022 at 1pm at Dorchester Memorial Park with Rev. Michael LaClair officiating. Arrangements are in the care of the Thomas Funeral Home, P.A. in Cambridge.
