Brian E. Groy, 45, of Salisbury passed away on Friday, March 31, 2017 at Peninsula Regional Medical Center in Salisbury. He was born December 2, 1971.
He was a 1989 graduate of Cambridge South Dorchester High School in Cambridge, Maryland.
Brian was an intelligent, fun-loving character who was a best friend to all. Prior to the drug addiction that ultimately took his life, he had been the owner/operator of the Car Wash Guys mobile detailing service.
Brian is survived by his mother Mary Jane Rhea and step-father Robert G. Rhea of Laurel, DE, father Gary R. Groy, Sr. of Laurel, DE, sister Leigh Ann Vreeland and husband Jamie R. Vreeland of Snow Hill, Md., a brother Gary R. Groy, Jr. and his fiance Tatiana Daly of West Ocean City, MD, a sister Kim Groy of Cambridge, MD, sister Toni Wilkerson and husband Robert W. Wilkerson, Jr. of Frankford, DE, a step-brother Bobby M. Rhea and wife Christen of Ocala, FL, and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and extended family and friends.
In lieu of flowers, contributions to Warwick Manor or Hudson Health Services would be appreciated.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 15, 2017 at 12:00 pm at Great Marsh Park in Cambridge, where family and friends may gather to pay their final respects..
