Deborah "Debbie" M. (Wheatley) Collison

Deborah “Debbie” M. Collison, 63, of Cambridge passed away on Sunday, December 5, 2021 at UMSMC at Easton. She was born in Cambridge on January 24, 1958 and was a daughter of the late Ollie H. and Georgia Belle Slacum Wheatley.

She graduated from Cambridge High School class of 1976. Debbie was an in home daycare provider for about 15 years. She enjoyed crossword puzzles, cooking and spending time with her family. Debbie was a member of the Church of the Nazarene.

She is survived by her husband Ricky Collison of Cambridge, a daughter Cherie Messick and husband Terry of Cordova, a brother Kenneth Wheatley and wife Michelle of Preston, several nieces, nephews and cousins. She is also survived by her special cat Ambrose.

A celebration of life will be held on Tuesday, December 14, 2021 at 1 pm at the Church of the Nazarene, 97 Sandy Hill Road, Cambridge, MD 21613 with Rev. Richard Prahl officiating. Family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Church of the Nazarene, 97 Sandy Hill Road, Cambridge, MD 21613 or to Kitty Kat Kottage, c/o Diana Rathell, 3711 Elliott Drive, East New Market, MD 21631. Arrangements are in the care of the Thomas Funeral Home, P.A. in Cambridge.
