Goldie J. (Kraegenbrink) Willey

Goldie J. Willey, 88, of Cambridge passed away on Friday, June 21, 2019 at Mallard Bay Care Center in Cambridge. She was born in Cambridge on May 15, 1931 and was a daughter of the late George O. and Anna Tuckett Kraegenbrink.

Mrs. Willey attended schools in Dorchester County. She worked for various businesses throughout the county. She married Arthur Willey, who passed away in 1987. Mrs. Willey enjoyed crocheting and gardening. She was a past member of the Cambridge Moose Ladies Auxiliary.

She is survived by three daughters Sharon George of Preston, Martha Jubb of Federalsburg and Barbara Lewis of Preston, a son Russell Moore II of Rhodesdale, several grandchildren and great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents and her husband, Mrs. Willey is preceded in death by four sisters Mildred Kraegenbrink, Louise Davis, Martha Mills and Ruth Ann Wright.

Pallbearers will be members of the family.

A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, June 26, 2019 at 11 am at Thomas Funeral Home, P.A. in Cambridge with Pastor Jack Diehl officiating. Interment will follow at the Maryland Eastern Shore Veterans Cemetery. Family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
